Animals Warm Themselves. The domestic animals flee because they have been bad, or they feel cold. To get warm the tom-cat advises the goat to wind some birch bark round his head and to have a fight with the ram The bark begins to burn. The bear also comes to the fire, to warm himself. After that they all creep into a haystack. Seven wolves come along wanting to fight. The ram frightens the wolves, and they run away. Cf. Type 159A.
